summer tour dates

This summer we are on tour with two of the best bands in the world. First a mainly western states run with Portugal. the Man from mid to late june, then the rest of the US with Heartless Bastards. Its a huge honor to be asked to play shows with both of these bands. All of the dates are listed, looking forward to seeing all of our good friends across the country.

…..to thank everyone who’s helped us out on this tour, we’ve been out almost a month and only 3 hotels which means that we’ve spent significant time on floors across the country, we want to especially thank the folks who’ve put us up for multiple days, James in Orlando for driving us around to fix our van and supplying amazing provisions, Bonnie and Chuck in Boston for an amazing lamb feast, and Bob in northern Georgia for always making us feel so welcome.

Hey,

Thanks to everyone who came out to the last few nights in NYC, we had the pleasure of playing 3 sold out nights at the Grammarcy theater in Manhattan, along with enjoying the most amazing city in America, we are leaving little hung over, but in good spirits.

Around midnight saturday night our van was struck on the freeway between San Antonio and Austin. Amazingly we were all OK only a little banged up, the force of the impact crushed the rear of the van breaking the windows and rendering the van totalled. We are on a hunt for a new van in Austin today to continue the tour. The guys in RX Bandits have been kind enough to take all of our gear to the next show in New Orleans. If you’d like to help us out please click here to purchase our new live CD. We released this ourselves so all of the money will go back into the band to help pay for a new vehicle.

In the Studio

We are currently in the studio working on our 3rd full length album. The recording is at the halfway point and going really well so far. We are recording at Type Foundry in Portland with our friends Adam Selzer and Dylan Magierek who are doing an amazing job. Lots of new sounds to work with, this will be our most varied album to date. Pictures and video of what we’re working on is soon to come!
